Welcome! I’m so glad you’re here.

My name is Diane, though many people know me as Dee—a name that feels warm, familiar, and grounding. Please feel free to use whichever resonates most with you.

I acknowledge that I live, work, and play on the traditional territories of the Kwantlen, Katzie, Matsqui, and Semiahmoo First Nations. As a Métis, Irish, white-presenting guest, I hold deep respect for this land and its peoples, and I strive to move through this space as a good relative and visitor, with care, humility, and ongoing learning.

Beyond my professional role, I am a sister, a friend, a mother, and an auntie. These relationships have shaped how I understand connection, responsibility, and the ways life invites us to grow—often through both beauty and hardship. I carry a deep appreciation for the ways our stories, experiences, and relationships weave together to form who we are.

Professionally, I bring over 25 years of counselling experience, supported by a Master of Social Work degree. I am in good standing with both the British Columbia College of Social Workers and the BC Association of Social Workers. My work is rooted not only in training and knowledge, but in presence, compassion, and a genuine respect for each person’s unique path.

If you’ve found your way here, I hope you feel a gentle sense of resonance—a quiet knowing that you are welcome just as you are. There is no rush, no pressure—only space. And when the time feels right, we can begin to explore whether walking together feels supportive for you, as you reconnect with your own rhythm, your own truth, and the song that already lives within you.
